Let’s Chat and Catch Up!
It’s been a while since I’ve tapped in with you all and I’m super happy to be doing so after the turbulent 18 months we’ve all had around the world due to the pandemic. The time stamp on this post marks 18 days until our 3 year anniversary in business doing what I love and to Allah, I owe all the praise. Over the last 2 years, Allah has moved in ways I could only dream about and I plan to start sharing that with you to bring you up to speed.
This particular blog is the start of sharing my personal & business evolution with you in hopes that it can motivate you to see your own dreams through as I’m attempting to do the same!
So Let’s Get it, Story Time!
At the top of 2020, I was completely washed out from the constant hussle of taking a leap of faith and betting on myself, leaving my career and trusting the process. Honestly, the roller coaster ride of success and failures was starting to make me depressed, then the pandemic happen! Sucks right? I know. Yet my grandmother always says “ God is in the pivot, and until the year 2020 I didn’t quite understand that.
Going into business for yourself is a wild ride and only a few get it right the first try and I was one of the people who failed many times during this process. From poor planning to broken systems, to being too afraid to confront a customer service issue. You name it, I’ve probably failed at it during this process, nevertheless, I knew I have something awesome to bring to the market and I simply refused to quit.
As I prayed Allah was telling me I needed to surround myself with people who wanted to win just as much as I did, and were willing to accompany me on the roller coaster of business. So Randomly at the top of 2021, I get an Insta Dm from the Founder of “ Stogies & Bowties “ to be on their podcast “ Smoke Check “. From the jump brother and I hit it off and everything was amazing. Over the next few weeks, we stayed in contact, and out of the soil, a beautiful friendship blossomed.
Fast forward to August after months of cloth talk Allah Moved the wall out my way and placed a team in my circle. S&B x Dreamer Cigars agreed to a partnership which solved some key problems for all of us and created something historic. Chugg & Rev joined my team as Tobacconist and one of my best friends Dee Gee came into the fold offically as my COO. Now it’s time to celebrate!

I’m truly grateful for Allah’s grace during this time for me and glad to have new family to share history with.
The event was so iconic I’m glad to have footage that could describe it in a way only seeing it would provide!
